Account Executive Position at Airtekk

 We are seeking an Account Executive (AE) for our USA  office to support our growth.  The AE will be accountable for developing and maintaining successful relationships with new  clients and bringing in new business. This position reports directly to the President and will work in partnership with the VP of Creative Services to make sure the creative department is producing outstanding creative product and is reaching all goals.


 Job responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular contact between the agency and specified client accounts
  • Develop strategic marketing plans for clients
  • Meet regularly with production managers to coordinate agency efforts and timing of projects on behalf of assigned clients/accounts
  • Inform President regularly of account progress for clients
  • Manage all client briefings, provide client contact reports for all client meetings and distribute to appropriate agency personnel
  •  Present, sell and advocate all agency work/proposals to clients; support other client service team members in these functions
  • Update client services teams regarding clients’ brands / products / services / marketing developments
  • Regularly review and respond promptly to all client communications, including phone calls, and emails
  • Check and approve creative/production material, copy, layouts, and production art
  • Coordinate project timing and budgets with all relevant agency personnel and clients
  • Upsell existing clients on new services
  • Develop sales strategy with President
  •  Generate new business leads and prospects for the agency according to a pre-defined set of client criteria, move them up the sales pipeline and update opportunities in
  • Support Advisory Board Members with their leads
  •  Keep timely contact with prospects through regular emails, mailings, phone calls, and appointments
  • Assist with writing of proposals
  •  Pitch to prospects
  • Represent agency at industry functions
  •  Assure the profitability of your projects and clients
  •  Make monthly, quarterly and annual projections
  •  Review billing prior to release to clients and handle all client inquiries on billing


  • MUST have minimum of two years of aftermarket-related industry experience (automotive, heavy duty and/or commercial vehicle) in the field of advertising/marketing
  • Strong existing relationships with aftermarket businesses, media and industry influencers
  •  Minimum BS/BA in Business Administration, Marketing Communications, Advertising or related field
  •  Ability to think outside-the-box of traditional marketing; demonstrate innovation
  • Demonstrated portfolio and examples of high-quality, industry specific marketing campaigns
  •  Prior experience working for an advertising agency is strongly preferred


  • Strategic thinking, attention to detail
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  •  Ability to articulate clearly, verbally and in writing
  •  Knowledge of or another CRM is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Must work at the HQ in Woodside, NY and be able to travel frequently
